Dogs often live longer than 15 years and are a lifelong commitment.  Not just a
passing whim.  Will you take responsibility for his/her entire life?
Will you be financially able to provide canine maintenance such as monthly heart
worm prevention, check-ups, flea prevention, etc.?

Where will your dog stay when it is at home alone, at night, and when you are
